For many decades, Bali has been a magnet for tourists from all over the world. Domestic and international hotel chains put Bali high on their lists as priority target to expand their hospitality businesses. Hoshino Resorts, a leading management hotel in Japan with currently 36 properties within the country, now follows suit by opening its first property abroad on the Island of Gods.
Adapting the brand name Hoshinoya, the resort opened on January 20 and sits in the lush green hills of Ubud, overlooking the Pakerisan river. Running through the property are sacred water canals which are part of the island's age-old water temple network recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage landscape. The natural surroundings allow for a perfect relaxation experience.
The resort offers three different types of villas, all independently built in order for their guests to enjoy a private and comfortable stay. The architecture represents Balinese beauty and ancient wisdom. Each villa features a gazebo with a roof made of a sacred grass and reed as well as traditionally carved furniture. All villas are connecred to the semi-private canal pool area, allowing the guests to plunge in directly from their terrace.
The resort also features a spa and a shop, as well as a restaurant serving tempting dishes of Japanese and Balinese cuisine.
