Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, a brand new destination in the Alam Sutera area of South Tangerang, has officially opened its doors. The hotel marks the brand’s first property in Greater Jakarta, bringing their signature take on Javanese hospitality into the city.
Operated by PT. Hotel Candi Baru (Tentrem Group), Hotel Tentrem Jakarta is the latest addition to an expanding portfolio of hotels following on from predecessors: Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta in 2012 and Hotel Tentrem Semarang in 2020. The grand opening ceremony was attended by the hotel’s owners, Mr. and Mrs. Agus Pikanto, Ms. Karina Pikanto, and Mr. Irwan Hidayat representing PT. Hotel Candi Baru. Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, was also present to inaugurate the hotel on Sunday, 14 July 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and plaque signing.
The 17-story building offers 200 rooms, ranging from Deluxe to Presidential Suites, along with four distinct dining options: Populico, a bistro; Kayu Manis, serving Indonesian cuisine; LIN, offering Chinese dishes; and Canella, specialising in traditional Italian fare.
Additional amenities include a fitness centre, spa, children’s play area, and comprehensive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities, making Hotel Tentrem Jakarta a prime destination for both local and international travellers.
