Does your company manage its waste in accordance with prevailing laws as well as practicing the right procedures of preserving the environment?
The less-waste lifestyle that you’ve implemented in your daily life does not have to end in the office. Other than bringing reusable bag, reusable water bottle, dining kit and recycling your waste, there are many other things that you can do to be more proactive in reducing waste from your office activities. From reducing paper usage to choosing the right office supplies, your decision in the office can be part of a less-waste lifestyle.
Office employees tend to spend significantly more time than other activities, and this directly affects the amount of waste from office activities. According to a study (Source: Forbes), the average employee uses more than 10,000 sheets of paper each year, which amounts to $80 to $100 per person each year. Other than the amount of waste generated by the office, this also affects expenses for office supplies.
One of the Jakstranas Indonesia program missions, Clean Waste 2025 (Indonesian Presidential Regulation No. 97/2017) aims to reduce waste by as much as 30 per cent.
