Trans Snow World Juanda is Now Open, Offers Jakartans a Taste of Winter

Indonesians wanting to experience cold weather and snow have to resort to long trips to  Europe or North America. Thanks to the recently-opened indoor amusement park at Trans Snow World Juanda, Bekasi, experiencing snow is now just a short ride away.

Inaugurated by the Founder & Chairman of CT Corp Chairul Tanjung on 25 March, Trans Snow World features an indoor playground with an area of 6,500 metres. Inspired by the Swiss Alps, it can accommodate 1,000 visitors.

Here, visitors can make snowballs, go ice skating and even ski. Kids and family can take a ride on cable cars and test their adrenaline on ice sliders. Snow rangers are on hand to help guide visitors.

Using special technology, Trans Snow World Juanda is able to maintain the temperature ranges from 10 to 15 degree Celsius to ensure constant snow. Trans Snow World Juanda also rents winter boots.

The entrance ticket is priced at IDR 200,000 on weekdays and IDR 275,000 on weekends in 2 hour blocks. Special games will cost additional fees. There are single and double snow tubes, skis, basic sledges, snow scooters, racer sledges as well as zoro balls at prices ranging from IDR 30,000 to IDR 80,000.

These tickets can be purchased online or from ticket counters at Trans Snow World . Trans Snow World is open everyday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Don’t forget your down jacket!
