Through plug-and-play Android Auto and Apple CarPlay specifically developed for automotive users by the two tech giants, users can communicate comfortably. This application allows users to showcase the important features of their smartphones on the MyLink screen so that they can drive more safely. Chevrolet is the first global brand that introduces the features of Apple's Siri Eyes Free CarPlay, and among the initiators that offers Android Auto feature. The All-New Captiva has also been updated with active safety features such as Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which both use a radar sensor installed in Captiva to monitor the environment and provide a warning to the users for any potential impacts. This new Captiva is also fitted with Rear Park Assist Camera--a useful feature when you are in a cramped parking conditions in the city center. The main updates are on the front grille design with the Chevrolet bowtie logo which is typically placed on the top of its dual-port grille. Other improvements include the meter cluster performance with a large LCD screen to display vehicle’s important information.
