Samsung recently launched two new smartphones to the world: Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, with 4 GB RAM (LPDDR4) and 64 GB (UFS 2.1), feature an infinity display as well as an innovative design to enjoy a more interesting content. The screen display ratio is 18,5:9 so that the content can be displayed and enjoyed maximally. The handy smartphones are also supported by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back side to ensure the devices’ endurance with high-quality finishes.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are equipped with a sophisticated camera technology, which can capture three images at once. With a resolution of 12 MP, a F1.7 diaphragm and the support of Dual Pixel technology for the back camera, the smartphones can sharply capture clear and detailed images. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP, a F1.7 diaphragm and comes with the latest autofocus technology to support the camera focus that is adjusted to the user’s hand distance so it can produce higher quality selfie images.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ also feature a biometrics technology, which allows users to safe their data and contents. The iris scanner, fingerprint scanner and facial recognition technology all have the highest safety standards. The biometrics identification technology is using a mathematics principle that turns this feature into the most sophisticated security layer in a smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have their own camera to scan the user’s iris. The Secured Folder enables the safekeeping of important data. It can be opened through the biometrics identification combination, using pin or pattern.
Processor chip 10nm and a wireless charger for high performance as well as fast and efficient battery usage power the smartphones. They can also be connected to the latest VR Gear with a controller supported by Oculus and to Gear 360 to create 4K 360-degree video contents and images as well as video live streaming directly from the device to make broadcasting activities directly through social media or VR Gear easier.
Samsung’s DeX dock allows the smartphone into a desktop-like device. While the phones are connected to DeX, the devices are protected by the company’s Knox security platform.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are available in three colours, Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold.
