It’s easy to find amazing designed-led hotels in and around Jakarta with artistically modern and spacious rooms, lobbies and lounges. Here’s a list of our favourites.

Any respectable hotel brand spends years to find the perfect balance of a splendid design and sensibility, and the process continues as the brand progresses, because interior design in a luxury hotel is crucial in creating a memorable staying experience. From creating an artistic appeal, arranging a welcoming hotel lobby design to highlight comfort and innovation, the goal is to turn a hotel with unique design elements that truly push the needle when it comes to fusing space, comfort and a make-or-break factor in its overall success.

Hotel Indonesia Kempinski

Among distinguished and time-honoured buildings in Jakarta is Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. The hotel was established on the occasion of the fourth Asian Games in 1962. With the hotel being inaugurated by the first president, Soekarno, as the first five-star hotel in Southeast Asia to provide international standards, Hotel Indonesia Kempinksi has secured its position as an important architectural landmark and cultural heritage in the centre of the capital.
