Lounge In The Sky Indonesia Officially Airing in Jakarta’s Sky

After careful preparation since last year, Lounge In The Sky Indonesia launched this week as a unique attraction right in the heart of the city. Lounge In The Sky Indonesia is a collaboration between MANGKULUHUR CITY and DITS ASIA to fulfill the vision for Mangkuluhur City to become a lifestyle center that presents global attractions.

Promising a beautiful 360° view of the capital city skyline as well as the Semanggi Butterfly interchange, this floating attraction can accommodate up to 32 guests at the same time while enjoying a four course meal served by BOCA RICA Tapas Bar & Lounge for one hour. This worldwide attraction and experience that has won various awards internationally, aims to offer an unprecedented concept for both the culinary and tourism industries in Indonesia, which are slowly recovering from the impact of the pandemic.

Arvin Randahwa as Founder and CEO of DITS ASIA expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of Lounge In The Sky Indonesia. “Today I am very excited to announce the presence of Lounge In The Sky Indonesia to brighten up Jakarta’s sky. Mangkuluhur City and DITS Asia collaborated together to bring this culinary experience to life with the aim of reviving the local and international tourism sector,” said Arvin.

Responding to Arvin's statement, Darma Mangkuluhur Hutomo as the President Director of PT Malka Manah Cipta also expressed his warm welcome. “Lounge In The Sky Indonesia is in line with our vision of making Mangkuluhur City as a lifestyle center for Indonesia's young generation, as well as contributing to reviving the tourism sector which has been affected by the pandemic for more than two years,” expressed Darma.

The launch of Lounge In The Sky Indonesia received a positive response from the government. This was marked by the presence of a number of officials, including the Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly, Bambang Soesatyo, and the Minister of  Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno.

In his speech, Bambang Soesatyo express his appreciation and support for the launching event of the LOUNGE IN THE SKY Indonesia. “This is my first experience of having dinner in the sky. congratulations and success for the creative initiation of Mangkuluhur City by presenting the Lounge In The Sky Indonesia in order to support the growth of the Creative Economy  Industry which is also being promoted by the Indonesian government. As we know, since last year the Creative Economy Industry has contributed to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) more than IDR 1.7 trillion. I hope Lounge In The Sky Indonesia can absorb labour, increase Indonesian economy, and also provide choices for Indonesian people to experience world-class attractions without having to go abroad."

In line with Bambang Soesatyo's statement, Sandiaga Uno as the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also gave a positive response. “I really appreciate the Lounge In The Sky Indonesia. It is becoming a part of our national economy and it gives the opening of business and employment opportunities for the public". I hope that Lounge In The Sky Indonesia can become as the leading destination which also able to inspire and educate other destinations in Indonesia by it’s safety standards, implementation of health protocols, cleanliness levels to services with strict and disciplined international class standards.” To ensure social distancing between guests, each guest who makes a reservation will get a private table.

Lounge In The Sky Indonesia prioritizes and uses very high safety standards. While on board the attraction, guests will use seat belts, and the accompanying staff are also equipped with safety harnesses that will keep them safe and secure while in the air. Safety supervisors will provide information on safety regulations to guests before the attraction starts and will always communicate with operators and staff on the ground. It has been approved by TÜV SÜD; an international organization originating from Germany, which validates the safety of all kinds of products in order to protect both humans and the environment from harm. A 220 tons telescopic boom crane from Europe will be used for Lounge In The Sky Indonesia in Jakarta.

Lounge In The Sky Indonesia, which is located in Mangkuluhur City, in the Jend. Gatot Subroto, Kav. 2 - 3, South Jakarta, has opened an online reservation system for public through the website www.lits.asia  to be able to feel the sensation that has received recognition from CNN and Forbes as one of the "Top 10 Most Extravagant Meals" in the world.  LOUNGE IN THE SKY INDONESIA presents 3 different packages starting from IDR 1.6 million for Standard class, IDR 2.2 million for Business class, and IDR 3.7 million for First Class.
