To celebrate its 2nd anniversary, T’ang Court at the Langham, Jakarta is hosting a special collaboration featuring the Michelin-starred Executive Chef Tony Su from the equally acclaimed T’ang Court in Shanghai, cooking alongside their very own Chinese Executive Chef Chong Kooi Sam. The two chefs have prepared a exclusive set menus to mark the occasion, only available from 24 to 28 October 2024.

Located on the 61st floor of The Langham, Jakarta, T’ang Court once again brings the dynamic duo of Chef Tony Su and Chef Chong Kooi Sam together for their second anniversary. The two chefs promise the “Best of the Best Cantonese Cuisine”, served amidst the sophisticated venue’s Golden Age-inspired Chinese decor and fabulous city views.

The limited-time set menus include a 6-Course Lunch Set as well as an even more premium 8-Course Dinner. In every dish, Chef Tony brings his expertise in Cantonese delicacies, rooted in his vast experience with traditional Chinese ingredients.

Some of Chef Tony’s dish highlights include: Chilled Marinated Lobster in Teochew Style, Braised Fish Maw with Shredded Chicken, Poached Star Grouper with Salted Lemon and Pickled Vegetable, Braised Stuffed Chicken Fillet with Crabmeat SAuce, Fried Glutinous Rice with Seared Scallop and Abalone Sauce. For dessert, Chef Tony presents Double-Boiled American Ginseng with Snow Pear served with Crispy Glutinous Rice Ball with Avocado and Bird’s Nest Filling. 

Chef Sam, who is renowned for his modern interpretations of Cantonese cuisine, will treat guests with his Braised 5 Head Abalone with Sache Sauce and Crispy Short Ribs with Truffle and Port Wine Sauce, all of which are influenced by his diverse culinary background. Both set menus can be paired with a selection of wines, special cocktails, and other refreshing beverages for a prominently enhanced dining experience.
