After several years of hiatus, the understated club at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan—formerly known as Tempus—now reopens with a brand new name, OZONE Bar & Karaoke, complete with a refreshed and retouched interior features. The culinary offering at this bar now include Asian fusion food and modern international favourites.
During the grand opening event on 5 September 2019, Cluster Executive Assistant Manager, Sales & Marketing, Harry Suryadharma excitingly welcomed guests and members of the media with a warm message. “We are delighted to welcome you to your new hangout place where great music comes together with the freshest drinks and outstanding food. OZONE Bar & Karaoke is aiming to be the most happening lifestyle hangout in town,” Harry exclaimed.
My first impression upon entering the posh establishment is its dominant sky-blue ambient lighting. Quite true to the name, OZONE Bar & Karaoke simulates good times as if you’re up high among the clouds, with clear blue skies symbolised by subtle wall lights, floating lamps over the bar and soft blue neons encircling it as well as a gigantic LED screen backdropping the centre stage. On this same stage, a house live band plays on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, followed up by the bar’s very own female DJ from Thursday through Saturday, 9pm onwards.
I have to advise you as well to not be intimidated by OZONE Bar & Karaoke’s luxurious facade, since the rates and prices are delightfully approachable. The new bar is launching with a bang, offering unmissable free-flow promotions of beer from Monday to Wednesday at IDR 250,000, gin on Thursdays at IDR 350,000, whiskey at IDR 350,000 on Fridays and tequila on Saturdays at IDR 350,000.
For those looking for a more exclusive experience, five private 8-to-12 person karaoke rooms with over 20,000 tunes and cutting edge audio systems are available for you starting at IDR4,500,000.
