Celebrating its 1st Anniversary, T’ang Court presents a celebration of culture and cuisine with their Palace of Festivity. With a Four Hand Feast of Cantonese and Shang Hai flair, as well as an anniversary event that reflects the style and opulence of Chinese high society.
It’s been one year since the revered T’ang Court was unveiled in the capital, finding an appropriate home on the 61st floor in Langham Jakarta. Bringing a three Michelin Star reputation from its original location in Hong Kong, anticipation for this refined, authentic Cantonese restaurant was certainly high — and expectations were certainly met.
Now, the restaurant has established itself as a premium dining destination amongst the city’s gourmands, providing a more discerning demand for a high-end Chinese cuisine experience. Four Hand Feast: Powerhouses of Oriental Cuisine
From 25 to 29 October 2023, T’ang Court presents an extravagant 8-course set menu of refined Cantonese and Shanghainese cuisine. The menu is born from a collaboration between Executive Chef Chong Kooi Sam of T’ang Court Jakarta and Chef Yvonne Yuen of YY Private Dining.
Chef Yvonne, drawing from her deep-rooted Shanghai heritage, brings her the generational culinary background of her own family; as does Chef Sam, originally from Hong Kong. Thus, the menu brings two homegrown flavours to the fore, a fusion of two oriental cuisine powerhouses.
On the set menu, available for lunch and dinner, features:
– Homemade Beancurd and Morel Mushroom in Sesame Oil
– Marinated Crab Meat with Yellow Chinese Wine
– Hairy Crab Xiao Long Bao
– Braised Bird’s Nest with Hairy Crab Roe, Crab Meat & Gold Leaf
– Stew Star Grouper with Homemade Fermented Yellow Pepper & Bean Sauce
– Pan Fried Short Ribs with Honey Glazed
– Stir-Fried Asparagus with Truffle Sauce Topped with Lotus Root Stuffed with Prawn

– Thai Coconut Pudding & Crispy Fried Milk Roll

Drawing not only on the T’ang Court’s prestigious reputation in Hong Kong but also on its recognition in Jakarta, the restaurant will host a dazzling anniversary event dubbed ‘Festivity of Glam’. Set for 28 October 2023, guests can expect the venue to channel the very best of Chinese high society, presented through bold decorations and a fusion of both modern and traditional Chinese elements.
During the exclusive event will be a ‘Chinese Royalty Style’ trunk show by Stella Lunardy, accompanied by enchanting live guzheng performances. The anniversary event aims to create an enjoyable evening for all attendees, allowing them to mingle, immerse themselves in the celebration, and savour the signature dishes from T’ang Court’s renowned collection of authentic delicacies.
