The Papandayan Hotel ends this year on a good note: the five-star hotel in Bandung received an award from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture in cooperation with Yayasan Indonesia ITTA (Indonesia Travel and Tourism Award 2016/2017) on December 14th at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta.
The Indonesia Leading City Hotel 2016/2017 award is given to different players in the Indonesian tourism industry, including hotels, airlines, travel agents, theme parks or transportation companies. There are three components involved in the judging process after selecting the candidates, namely a voting via Facebook (25%), from a board of advisors (50%) as well as ratings from Binus Business School (25%).
At the same time, The Papandayan Hotel also received the tenth Anugerah Sapta Pesona Pariwisata for the category of best managed sustainable tourism service business hotel. The award is an appreciation from Bandung’s city government toits tourism industry such as restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and travel agents that have implemented “Sapta Pesona”, a concept that includes different features such as safety and cleanliness, as well as observing the government rules including paying taxes, improvement of human resources, good customer service, and sensible treatment of employees.
