The four-brands under PHM Hotels, namely The Haven Bali Seminyak, The 101 Bali Fontana Seminyak, The 101 Jakarta Sedayu Darmawangsa, and The 101 Yogyakarta Tugu have been honoured with the award of the ASEAN Green Hotel for excellent sustainability.
The awards were presented by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, during The Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno event at the Sapta Pesona Building, on 13 March 2024. For The 101 Hotels and Resort, this award has once again been received for its demonstrated excellence at the ASEAN Tourism Award 2024.

With the addition of accolades to both THE 1O1 Hotels & Resorts and PHM Hotels, we are ready to expand our tourism business, particularly in environmentally conscious hospitality.” stated Marcia Amandary, PHM Hotels’ Vice President of Brand and Development who expressed profound pride in this achievement.
A similar expression was also conveyed by PHM Hotels’ Corporate Marketing Communications Manager, Greta Indri, who said, “This award reaffirms PHM Hotels’ serious commitment to supporting the government’s initiatives in creating sustainable tourism,”
THE 1O1 Hotels & Resorts had previously earned EDGE certification as a Green Building, a program initiated by the World Bank since 2017. Two hotels, THE 1O1 Yogyakarta Tugu and THE 1O1 Bogor Suryakancana, have successfully become environmentally friendly establishments with energy savings of up to 63%.
The ASEAN Tourism Award (ATA) stands as a beacon of recognition within the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2024. Collaborating with esteemed partners including the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) and the Indonesia Congress and Convention Association (INCCA), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy played a pivotal role in nominating candidates for the esteemed ASEAN Green Hotel Award 2024, alongside the ASEAN MICE Venue Award 2024.
