Art-pop pioneer Grace Jones will headline an eclectic show at Katamama’s next door neighbour, Potato Head Beach Club, on the 8th of October 2016.
A legendary show woman, Grace Jones regularly plays to tens of thousands of people at music festivals internationally, but will headline a more unique show at the Potato Head Beach Club, giving fans access to an unrivalled, intimate experience with the art-pop pioneer. The American musician, model and actress has been a recognisable figure in the international art and popular culture scene since the early ’70s. After a successful international modelling career, she moved into music by adapting the then-emerging New Wave and Post Disco genres to create a distinctive style all of her own. Performing for the first time ever in Indonesia, Grace’s intimate set will be followed by an official after-party featuring the legendary DJ Harvey, a beach club favourite.
