Sanguinis Choraliensis!, which means seeking enjoyment by singing in a choir, is back.
This concert will present works that depict the relationship between humans and God and the universe, as a form of glorifying the Creator who plays a big role in life.
This concert also coincides with the 200th anniversary of the Austrian composer, Anton Bruckner. Several of his sacred music works will be performed alongside works by several other classical composers, such as Gustav Holst and Sergei Rachmaninoff. Apart from classical compositions, contemporary works by Akira Miyoshi, Josu Elberdin, Eric Whitacre, Jake Runestad, and Vatara A. Silalahi will also be performed.
“Mass in G Major” which is an early 20th century masterpiece by Francis Poulenc will be the highlight of this concert.
