As padel’s popularity gains traction in the city, a brand new facility opens up in Simatupang, South Jakarta. Smash Padel, which ‘officially’ opens on 3 May 2025, is the city’s biggest padel centre to date, built on 4,600 square metres of land, featuring premium play and lifestyle facilities.
Smash Padel was first dreamt up by Zenon Winters and Jules Brookfield, two passionate padel players looking to enhance their own playing experience. The result is an impressive centre featuring seven professional-quality courts ––including a spacious centre court perfect for tournaments and exhibitions.
Discerning players will appreciate the 14-metre high ceilings, exceptional airflow from open walls and 47 cooling fans spread across the facility. An expansive mezzanine floor above offers a viewing experience from two perspectives as well.

“Padel blends sport, social interaction, and wellness perfectly,” Jules says. “It’s easy to learn, rewarding to master, encourages conversations and laughter between points, and offers a fantastic workout that’s relatively gentle on the body. At Smash Padel, we’ve embraced these qualities, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere where everyone can connect, improve, and enjoy.”
Beyond the courts, Smash Padel offers a thoughtfully designed space that aims to nurture the sport’s social charm. This an includes air-conditioned café, foosball and billiards and even warm-up bikes. Additional amenities and services include comfortable locker rooms with cold plunge tubs, certified Spanish and local Indonesian coaches and and easy court bookings through the Playtomic app.
Open daily from 6am to 12am (midnight).
