Throughout December and January, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali has prepared special offers for guests who want to celebrate the festive season and welcome the new year with a number of events and dining promotions.
This month, Mövenpick Cafe serves all your favourite holiday treats, including Christmas Stollen, Marzipan, Christmas Cookies and Chocolate Pralines as well as special coffee. It is also the only time of the year where you can buy personalized Christmas Hampers.
To warmly welcome the joyful Christmas season, the Christmas tree will be lighted on 15 December at Katha Lounge. A children’s choir from Yayasan Dria Riba orphanage in Jimbaran will perform during the ceremony. To support the children in need, Mövenpick invites its guests to take part in the “Shine” project – a social program curated by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts to support children’s education.
Guests can also enjoy the Joyous Christmas Eve Dinner on 24 and 25 December at Anarasa Restaurant, when festive delights, roast turkey, grilled seafood and a selection of international cuisines from around the globe are served. The resort offers other Christmas dining packages as well, such as the Family Brunch where the kids have the opportunity to meet and greet Santa Claus.
On 26 December guests can enjoy a barbecue night with fresh seafood, crabs, lobsters and premium meats including lamb chops and pork ribs at Anarasa Restaurant as the part of “The Best of Boxing Day in Bali”.
To ring in the new year, Mövenpick hosts the Eclectic Balinese Party to reflect on 2017 and celebrate with a lavish international menu. Guests will be entertained by the magical Kecak dance during pre-dinner cocktails and be taken to the gala dinner as part of the parade. Other contemporary dances from Bali will be shown throughout the evening, while diners enjoy Mövenpick’s delightful international cuisine from Switzerland and other European countries, prepared by Executive Chef Ian Lovie and his culinary team.
As the new year begins, guests can join Hawker’s BBQ Brunch to celebrate the first day of 2018. A delightful Swiss barbecue and hawker’s foods are specially prepared to accompany refreshing brunch and dinner, with a selection of fresh seafood and premium grilled meats.
And that’s not even all yet! Above Eleven, the newest island’s rooftop restaurant and bar specializing in Peruvian-Japanese cuisine and its trendy nightspot Gramercy Park is offering something special: with unparalleled views over Jimbaran Bay, Above Eleven will hold two big celebrations during this festive season: Christmas Eve Under The Stars and Bring Back the 80’s New Year’s Eve Party.
