With the year’s most anticipated festive season fast approaching, get ready to bid adieu to 2021 and welcome the New Year with open arms as Christmas and New Year’s come knocking on our door. To help you celebrate a magical Christmas and end the year with a bang, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah has arranged a series of exclusive programmes and events immersed in world-class hospitality and services.
Home for Christmas
Being with your family and loved ones during Christmas is one of the biggest blessings a person can have, where you enjoy each other’s company, sharing laughter and joy over festive feasts and holiday cocktails. To accommodate guests with the perfect Christmas festivities, the hotel’s innovative culinary team has curated a variety of high-end treats to ensure guests experience a memorable Christmas with family and friends, from festive Christmas cocktails at The Lounge to Christmas dinners at Sugar & Spice and an array of Christmas-themed premium hampers.
Several highlights for the year-end festivities at the hotel include sumptuous feasts beginning with the Christmas Eve Dinner on Friday, priced at IDR 688,000++ per person, featuring classic Christmas dishes from around the world to a chic Christmas Brunch on Saturday and Sunday, priced at IDR 618,000++ per person.
Moreover, Chef Attila Körmöczi will present a taste of Europe with one of the most beloved Christmas classics from Germany, the Stollen Bread.
“Growing up as a child, I was watching my mother preparing one of the most precious and desirable Christmas sweets there is, during the snowy and frozen landscaped month of December. While playing outside in the deep snow, fragrances of sweetness and fruitiness escaped through the kitchen window, tickling my senses, knowing something very special is about to come. First baked during the 14th century in the city of Dresden, East Germany, the Christmas Stollen is one of the most iconic dishes served during those festive days with its shaped loaf resembling Jesus Christ wrapped in clothes as a baby child,” recalls Chef Attila.
It wouldn’t be the perfect Christmas without an excessive amount of sweet delights, which is why the hotel has invited talented uprising pastry chef, Kim Pangestu, founder of Nomz Kitchen & Pastry, to bring her innovative imagination and pastry-making expertise and present guests with her favourite and new creations.
New Year, New Soirée
Following joyous Christmas festivities over the weekend, the celebrations don’t stop there. The hotel’s New Year’s Eve celebration begins with a Friday evening dinner at their signature Sugar & Spice restaurant, priced at IDR 688,000++ per person, followed by an elevated take on their elegant brunch on Saturday, 1 January 2022, priced at IDR 618,000++ per person.

For those looking to present gifts to family and friends, the hotel’s premium hampers are available, with prices starting at IDR 188,000++ for a deluxe box of their artisanal cookies, while the Diamond Hamper is priced at IDR 4,888,000++ inclusive of a bottle of Taittinger Champagne.
