Mercure Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk presents the best of Indonesian flavours as part of its Nusantara Weekend Dinner programme throughout July and August 2019.
Continuing its rapidly growing reputation of delivering delightful, home-style Indonesian cuisine, NSNTR Restaurant at Mercure Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk returns with The Taste of Nusantara. This programme serves even more variety of authentic Indonesian cuisines created with passion by the talented kitchen team.
The new menu created for this programme is delivered naturally—exactly as traditional Indonesian dishes are served—using local produce, fresh from organic gardens highlighting wholesome goodness all the way. Guests can anticipate the spiced goodness of Ayam Bumbu Bali (Balinese-style Base Genep Chicken), Tahu Gejrot Cirebon (Cirebon-style Beancurd) and continuing with signature Indonesian mains, such as Nasi Kucing cart (typical street seller’s rice dish), Manado’s favorite Brenebon Soup or the intricately spiced Iga Garang Asam (Tamarind Beef Ribs Soup).
East Java’s staple dish, Beef Rawon will enhance the buffet with a delicate balance of sweet and savoury flavours. Not for the faint-hearted, guests may sample Gulai Banak, a Minang-inspired dish that is typically made of cow brains. Cool down with Brown Sugar Pudding, Klappertaart or Surabaya’s Lapis Legit (Layer Cake). This dinner is perfect for an enjoyment over the weekend with families and friends.
Nusantara Dinner Buffet is available at NSNTR every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6pm to 9.30pm. The first edition of the dinner buffet starts on Friday, 5 July 2019. The buffet is available at IDR 208,000++ per person, inclusive of free-flow soft beverages, with children under the age of five dining for free.
