Le Meridien Jakarta introduces Vanggo, a dining experience featuring Indian gastronomic heritage at La Brasserie Restaurant. Guests are invited to indulge in an array of the finest Indian cuisine from three different regions all the way until 25 August.

Patrons are welcomed to taste a menu inspired by culinary traditions from Northern India, Goa and Southern India, all highlighted by rich flavours thanks to copious use of herbs and spices. Vanggo, meaning ‘come in’ in Tamil, will be a culinary haven which offers flavoursome foods that reflects the country’s diverse culture and culinary signatures. From homely Dhal dishes to soft butter Naans to mouth-watering Gulab Jamuns, La Brasserie captures the best cuisine India has to offer.

The hotel has invited three guest chefs from the Marriott International group in India to create authentic flavours of Indian cuisine. Talented chef Ashwani Mall from the Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Gurudas Shantaram Mandekar from W Goa and Sathya Narayana Chary from Sheraton Grand Banguluru Whitefield & Convention Center will be taking over the kitchen in different occasions.

Chef Ashwani from the Westin Pune Koregaon Park will be presenting Northern Indian Cuisine from 15 to 28 July, while chef Gurudas will be serving an exotic taste of Goan cuisine from 29 July to 11 August. Don’t miss Southern Indian cuisine by Chef Sathya from Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield & Convention Center from 12 to 25 August.

The Gastronomic Heritage of India is served in buffet at Le Brasserie during lunch and dinner. The lunch buffet is available from Monday to Sunday, starting from 12 to 3pm at IDR 375,000++ per person. On Sunday, the Indian lunch comes with special offer at IDR 415,000++ per person including non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner featuring Indian cuisine is available every day from 6pm to 10.30pm at IDR 395,000++ per person.

In addition to Vanggo, Chef Gurudas will collaborate with the hotel’s Executive Chef Desmond Carneiro to host Goan Seafood Barbecue Pool Party on 4 August. The special Barbecue Pool Party will highlight Indian buffet brunch served at La Brasserie Restaurant and by the pool. Priced at IDR 495,000++ per person, guests are welcome to enjoy Indian buffet brunch accompanied by a live DJ performance during the Sunday event.
