Pullman Jakarta Indonesia is inviting all Thai food enthusiasts in the capital to join the Thai Food Festival from 30 August to 6 September 2023. In collaboration with Pullman Bangkok King Power, Chefs Khun Sirapong Pradit and Khun Phakaporn Chunlamonton will bring their expertise to Pullman Jakarta Indonesia and introduce the richness and diversity of Thai cuisine.
Throughout the week-long programme, there will be numerous dining events showcasing the delectable tastes of Thai dishes, from a cooking class to dining experiences, guests will have a handful of choices to explore.
Chef Khun Sirapong Pradit with his two decades of experience in cooking authentic Thai cuisine and Chef Khun Phakaporn Chunlamonton’s creative approach to Thai gastronomy, will hold a special opportunity for visitors to learn everything there is to know about Thai food. Join them on Saturday, 2 September 2023 at the Palapa Room for a hands-on Thai Cooking Class.
The class will be available in two options, the on-site class is priced at IDR 500,000++, which includes a 3-course Thai menu cooking experience that also comes with an apron, a chef’s hat, a recipe book, a certificate and special Thai Sambal creations made by the Chefs. Participants can also opt for the online class for IDR 300,000++, with the ingredients for the 3-course menu, an apron, a chef’s hat, a recipe book and an e-certificate, all delivered right to your doorstep.
Other than cooking classes, there will be dining experiences specially curated to highlight the best of Thai cuisine at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia’s renowned restaurants. Sana Sini Restaurant will deliver the perfect balance between sweet, sour, spicy and savoury that Thai foods are famous for. Guests can enjoy the mouth-watering Tom Yum soup to the fragrant stir-fries, tangy salads and delightful desserts, from lunch to dinner, starting at IDR 420,000++ per person. This special dining menu will be available from 30 August – 6 September 2023, an additional option for Singha Beer is also available for IDR 150,000++ per bottle.
Elevate your dining experience at UNA restaurant with their Thai Discover dinner at UNA’s private and lavish venue on the 15th level of Pullman Tower. This exclusive six-course menu features favourite and classic Thai dishes such as Yam Som o kub hoyshell (Pomelo Salad, grilled hokkaido scallops); Tom khaa goong maenaam hed shimeji (Spicy coconut milk soup, river prawns, shimeji mushrooms, galangal with Kaffir lime leaves); Hormok plahima (Steam fish soufflé, red curry, herb fried rice); Garng mussamun kae (Australian lamb chop, red curry, herb fried rice); Gaeng kiew waan goong mangkorn (Canadian lobster, green curry, seasonal vegetables); and Kanom piakpoon maprao orn (Pandan pudding young coconut meat).
This ultimate dinner will take place on 5 September 2023, starting from 6.30 PM until finish. Priced at IDR 1,200,000++ per person, Accor Plus members can enjoy an exclusive rate of IDR 1,080,000++ per person.
