MORA Group has officially entered the scene, making waves in the hospitality industry. With their launch event held at the MORAZEN Hotel in Surabaya on 31 July 2024, the group officially introduced themselves to 200 esteemed guests from various industries. Helmed by MORA Group’s CEO and Founder, Andhy Irawan, a strategic partnership with other powerhouses in the hospitality industry was also announced.
By partnering with Japan’s Select Hotels Group and Indonesia’s Qin Group Banjarbaru (known for their Muslim-friendly concept), MORA Group aims to raise service standards and introduce innovative hospitality experiences that cater to diverse cultural preferences. This initiative is expected to enhance Indonesia’s allure as a top-tier global tourist destination for both local and international travellers.
Andhy Irawan, MORA Group’s visionary CEO, expressed his ambitions clearly: “With MORA Group’s vision ‘to be the first choice of trusted hospitality management,’ we’ve secured partnerships with international heavyweights. Select Hotels Group, established in 2005, operates 50 hotels in Japan across business and luxury categories. Meanwhile, Qin Group, with its impressive portfolio, is gearing up to unveil a five-star Muslim-friendly hotel in South Kalimantan, Samarinda, and Solo.”
Adding to the excitement, Haji Norhin, CEO of Qin Group, noted, “This partnership is a gateway to providing Muslim-friendly hospitality services in Indonesia. We’re also eyeing expansion in Morocco and Medina to broaden Qin Group’s horizons.”
Since January 2024, MORA Group has been busy fortifying its business units with premium upscale hotels under the MORAZEN brand, now flourishing in Surabaya and Yogyakarta. The exclusive mid-scale HEMORA hotels and economical LAMORA hotels are also part of this exciting portfolio. The Group is exploring partnerships with investors to expand these brands into Bandung, Jakarta, Surabaya, and Banyuwangi. In line with the rapid pace of technological change, MORA Group is also set to launch its own digital operational management system.
