After 4 successful editions since 2021, The Papandayan International Jazz Online Competition (TPJC) returns in 2025, ready to offer a 5th chance for jazz musicians worldwide to showcase their talents. This event adopts a hybrid concept, combining virtual platforms and social media, making it accessible to participants and audiences from various parts of the globe.

TPJC 2025 is open to both professional and amateur jazz groups, divided between under and over 23 yr olds, from various countries. This competition offers an opportunity for musicians to expand their reach in the global jazz industry by submitting videos of their performances online.

With a panel of renowned jazz musicians as judges, selected participants can receive valuable feedback and evaluations. These include Barry Likumahuwa, Venche Manuhutu, Hari Pochang and Nita Aartsen, in addition to Henk Kraaijeveld from the Netherlands and Kostas Patsiotis from Greece.

TPJC 2025 is open to both professional and amateur jazz groups, with no age restrictions, from various countries. This competition offers an opportunity for musicians to expand their reach in the global jazz industry by submitting videos of their performances online. With a panel of renowned musicians as judges, participants can receive valuable feedback and evaluations.

The winners of the TPJC 2025 will have the chance to perform at The Papandayan Jazz Fest (TPJF) 2025 in October 2025. In addition, they will compete for a total prize of IDR 100 million, gold-plated trophies, certificates, and various other benefits that open up greater career opportunities for the winners.

Continued since 2018, TPJC 2025 also continues to receive support from Erasmus Huis, the Royal Netherlands Cultural Center. This support is expected to provide a platform for Indonesian artists to gain international recognition and strengthen cultural ties between Indonesia and the Netherlands.
