Starting on 25 June 2023, The Westin Jakarta presents an all-new weekend experience with the launch of their ‘Royal Brunch’ at Seasonal Tastes restaurant. This monthly event offers an extra indulgent culinary spread, fit for royalty!
Located on the 51st floor, Seasonal Tastes offers 360-degree views of Jakarta and is known for its vibrant buffets with its signature open kitchen style and live cooking stations that bring the restaurant to life. On a regular basis, this all-day dining destination fires up a wide selection of cuisine, from Asian and Indian flavours to Western favourites.
Now, Seasonal Tastes will present its monthly Royal Buffet Brunch, which sets to elevate the buffet experience with premium ingredients from around the world. With live cooking stations, a lavish spread of appetisers, main courses, and irresistible desserts, guests will embark on an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
You will be spoiled for choice as a spread of different stations presents a seemingly endless array of dishes. The Westin Salad Station serving fresh market greens, antipasti, sushi and sashimi and a lavish seafood bar with lobster, Alaskan king crab, black mussels, prawns, crayfish and clams on ice.
The Western Station features an array of premium soups, pastas and pizzas, as well as carving station overflowing with choice: roasted Australian lamb rack, US Prime Ribs, Norwegian Salmon en croute, smoked beef wagyu brisket. Making this station extra royal will be pass-around delicacies, including escargots, poached egg with white asparagus and vol au vent.
You’ll find an area dedicated to the Flavours of Nusantara, with gulai kambing, nasi goreng Padang, cakalang rica-rica; a Dim Sum and Siomay Bandung station, as well a corner dedicated to the guilty-pleasures of gorengan! The Asian carving station will be serving up roasted duck and kambing guling. Last but not least, the Indian delicacies, with favourites like paneer butter masala, tadka prawn curry, assorted naans and papadams all ready for the feast.
That’s not all! For those with a sweet tooth, a Pastry Royal Sweet station awaits, serving up global dessert favourites, with berries Basque Cheesecake, Yuzu Tarts, Normandy Chocolate Tarts to Es teler, pisang geprek, croffles, gelatos and even a live magnum-making stall. Yes, it’s brunch of global cuisine and flavours, with truly premium ingredients on show.
The Royal Buffet Brunch is priced at IDR 688,000++ per person for food and non-alcoholic beverages, which include, mineral water, iced tea, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
To complement this, Seasonal Tastes also offers an optional Alcohol Package, priced at IDR 388,000++ per person, which includes a selection of cocktails (Aperol Spritz, sparkling Sangria, Mojito, Negroni, Gin & Tonic), red and white wine by the glass, and a two-hour free flow of draught beer.
