The Ubud getaway Chapung Resort and Spa, made famous by its Seminyak-styled ‘beach club’ pool venue Jungle Fish, this year added another highlight venue to its food and beverage repertoire. Above the iconic pool, Di Abing Restaurant perches with even higher views of the Osh River Valley below.

Cozy, open, adorned with classic white table cloths, Di Abing welcomes  all with heart. On the plate, Borneo’s own Chef Wuisan Chandra mixes up a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean flavours for those who like something different. Seabass Ceviche with Asian touches of  edamame and wakame, Charsio Chicken Breast with creamy mash and enoki tempura and a Valrhona Chocolate Fondant made tropical with coco pandan and mango are but some examples of the eclectic, creative menu. Tied together with a glass or bottle from the stocked-up wine rack and you have yourself a perfect date night, if that’s what you’re after.
