French Gastronomy Week: Le Goût de France – Cita Rasa Prancis, j’adore!

Adapting Le Gout de France, which was initiated by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and Chef Alain Ducasse in 2015, this year’s Cita Rasa Prancis will present various activities that will strengthen bilateral cooperation between France and Indonesia, especially in the field of gastronomy and culinary.

The French Embassy, Institut français d’Indonésie (IFI), and Business France in Indonesia, supported by Disciples d’Escoffier, are organizing a French Gastronomy Week entitled “Le Goût de France – Cita Rasa Prancis, j’adore!”, on October 12-19, 2023. 

The main program of this event is to invite restaurants in major cities across Indonesia to participate by serving a special menu a la France during the week of French Gastronomy. Some of the restaurant that already confirm their participation are: Amuz Gourmet (Jakarta), Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomic (Bali), Apero Café (Bandung), and many others.

In addition, IFI branches in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bandung and Surabaya, as well as Alliance française in Bali and Medan also held other activities such as cooking demo, workshops, movie screenings and more.
