The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta’s Lagoon Garden has been extensively beautified this year with new carpets and an attractive Balinese outdoor area.
Lagoon Garden is one of many large rooms available at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta which is often used for weddings and many MICE events. Consisting of an area of 1350 square meters with a ceiling of nine meters high, it could accommodate up to 2000 or more invitees before the pandemic. Equipped with a sophisticated sound and light system, it is a very flexible place for events or meetings.
Making an event at Lagoon Garden for a large group is certainly easier, because in terms of accommodation, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta has more than 700 luxurious bedrooms and has indoor private tunnel access that goes directly to the Jakarta Convention Center.
Its outdoor area has a Balinese feel with gates, temples and red bridges over a beautiful lake right in front of the Lagoon Garden. This outdoor area is one of the most favorite pre-wedding photo spots. The main goal is to reintroduce Lagoon Garden because the place is able to accommodate all MICE events and especially weddings in which there are often several seperate ceremonies to host including dinner, traditional ceremonies and receptions. Of course, guests from the bride's and groom’s families can stay at the hotel at special prices.
Recently, the Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta in collaboration with APPGINDO (an association of Indonesian wedding and dress entrepreneurs established in 1989) held a grand evening event by inviting a number of wedding vendors in order to show and reintroduce the Lagoon Garden. The event was also supported by David Entertainment, Jakarta Wedding Planner, Evlin Decoration, Aura Live, Desinfectators, Republik Gambar, Aim The Label, Marcks Venus, GAIA Indonesian Tea, Stojo, Boca Espresso, Batik Kammi, Stefskin and Monchichi.
After reintroducing all wedding support facilities, House of Verza Wedding Gallery presented a collection of luxurious and elegant bridal kebayas (Indonesian traditional outfit) in a series of fashion shows with the theme Enchanted Wedding. Presented in two sequences, this fashion show involved many famous models in town. In charming makeup also with a head piece collection to complement the kebaya, this fashion show attracted the undivided attention of invited guests.
Showcasing all of couple’s favorite stall menus for wedding receptions like Steamboat station, Salmon en croute, Empal gentong, Asinan Betawi & Bread butter pudding, Executive Chef of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, Andry Stefanus proudly showed his crafts.
