The prominent five-star InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar has proudly been rewarded with two distinct categories at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2021 as Indonesia’s Leading Conference Hotel and Indonesia’s Leading Hotel. This momentous event marks the 28th time the World Travel Awards has been held.
Notwithstanding the ongoing challenges that the hospitality industry currently faces, organisers of the award revealed that this year’s World Travel Awards programme garnered a staggering record number of monthly votes from critically vital tourism consumers, whilst the website continues to gain even more search traffic than previous years. This proves that along with the momentum of the worldwide recovery of tourism, people around the globe have been yearning to travel now more than ever. With the recovery of the hospitality industry, the fresh and new consumer trend is to search for the finest and idyllic tourism products from around the world, which is why winning this year’s World Travel Award is particularly special for InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar.
This year’s World Travel Awards marks the first time InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar takes home the prize as Indonesia’s Leading Conference Hotel and Indonesia’s Leading Hotel. It is hoped that these recognitions from an international organisation will encourage the hospitality industry to maintain, preserve and keep on improving their facilities and services to be on par with the standards of international five-star hotels with professional services. Especially now as we are still amidst a pandemic, hotels around the world must implement strict health protocols to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
“It is very humbling and such a great honour to receive this award for the hard work of all the colleagues and hotel management that can provide this five-star service to our guests. Thank you very much to the public for choosing our hotel as the best among others. I am proud to dedicate this award to all colleagues of InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar, and of course, to our owner who always supports us in every situation. This award is meaningless if we don't maintain it and make it our DNA in providing impeccable services to our guests,” said Pascal Caubo as General Manager.
