The brand new seaside destination, Land’s End, plans to operate by April 2023, adding to the long list of excellent facilities in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, fondly known as PIK2.
Within the past few years, outdoor destinations, including coastal areas, have seen an increasing demand in Jakarta and around the world. So, seeing an opportunity from this increasing trend, Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group decided to develop and present a new seaside destination for Jakarta: Land’s End. This destination will be among the lifestyle concepts lining up the shores of the White Sand Beach, curated and conceptualized by Amantara as the subsidiary of Agung Sedayu Group.
Without traveling far beyond the city or even abroad, residents of Jakarta and its surrounding areas can now enjoy a relaxing beach atmosphere with a beautiful vista rivaling others in its class. Thus, Land’s End would add to the list of best destinations in Indonesia much loved by tourists both local and international.
Located right on the White Sand Beachin PIK2, Land’s End comes complete with facilities from restaurants to retail, and entertainment spots all decked in rustic-coastal style. Moreover, visitors can also lounge at cabanas and bean-bag chairs dotting the sandy beach while enjoying the tropical atmosphere.
For those who are keen on beach sports, Land’s End has a dock perfect for water sports and a boardwalk to enjoy a picture-perfect sunrise over the water. And visitors with young children under 15 years old can come to the Kid’s Club area, with an entrance fee, on the White Sand Beach strip. This area also boasts wide pedestrian and bicycling lanes, plus plenty of parking spots with flat-priced parking fee. Including its parking area, Land’s End covers an area of 4.5ha.
“With a plan to operate by April 2023, including Holiday Inn Resort, Beach Clubs, Aloha Pasir Putih, Ginza Beach Walk, and Community Park PIK2, an event space, at the meeting point of Greenbelt at Tahang River and the Java Sea,” said Sawitri Setiawan as the COO of Retail & Commercials Divisi 2 Agung Sedayu Group (Amantara).
Other international-standard facilities and destinations to complete PIK2 as a comprehensive township for residents and visitors will include Menara Syariah, Islamic Financial District at CBD PIK2, Distrik Otomotif PIK2, Eurokars PIK2, RS Hermina PIK2, Pelita Harapan Group, Kolese St. Johannes Berchmans, Greenbelt PIK2, Orange Groves, Tokyo Riverside Apartment, Tokyo Hub, Tokyo Market, Indonesia Design District (IDD), Erajaya Digital Complex (EDC), RANS PRESTIGE Sportstainment, RANS Carnivale Mini Zoo, La Riviera, Osaka Riverview Apartment, Mata Elang International Stadium, Sedayu Watertown, and Town Hub.
Even better, the ongoing building of Toll Interchange PIK2, scheduled to finish by Q4 of 2023, will give easy access to PIK2. The toll will connect PIK2 directly to the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as well as giving easy access to the inner ring-road toll.
Today, visitors can access PIK2 using the Transjakarta bus to-and-from the Pantai Maju area on Golf Island, with the A1 bus on the Balai Kota – Pantai Maju (Golf Island) route to the Jalasena Timur bus stop. There is also a separate PIK area-bound paid commuter bus connecting the Fresh Market bus stop in PIK 1 to the Jalasena Timur bus stop at Pantai Maju, besides more bus stops in PIK2 area. Various parking areas for cars and motorbikes are also available throughout the area and will be continuously expanded to provide room for visitors.
"By 2023, we aim to set PIK2 as the ideal township to work, live, and play. After finishing our main infrastructures by 2025, we look forward to welcoming local and global visitors to PIK2 as one of the top tourism destinations,” said Natalia Kusumo the CEO of Commercial & Hotels Divisi 2 Agung Sedayu Group (Amantara).
