Under Armour Opens Brand House City Concept Store at Plaza Indonesia

Under Armour proudly announced the opening of its newest outlet in Jakarta under the Brand House City Concept (BHCC), which presents the brand’s complete collection of clothing and sports accessories. Located in the luxury shopping mall, Plaza Indonesia, this is Under Armour’s second BHCC outlet after the first opened at PIK Avenue.

This BHCC outlet presents a unique and fresh concept, where visitors can browse through the various collections and sizes according to individual body shapes. The outlet also features mannequins of various body sizes to accommodate consumers with easier shopping when looking for their size and preferences.

We want to be closer to greeting sports enthusiasts in the heart of the capital, precisely at Plaza Indonesia with a fresher and bigger store concept. And this time, we are back with the BHCC concept which has previously been present at PIK Avenue,” said Robin Liem, Director of Under Armour Indonesia (Masari Group).

The new outlet can be found on Plaza Indonesia Mall’s 2nd floor and is open daily following the mall’s operating hours. The decision to open the newest BHCC in Plaza Indonesia is due to its strategic location at the heart of the city and its accessibility, the mall’s busy traffic and buying power of its visitors, as well as the mall’s target market which is in-line with the Under Armour brand.

This is our second BHCC concept store in Indonesia, and uniquely this BHCC also showcases one of Under Armour's collaborations with Indonesian graphic artist, Abenk Alter. And the results of this collaboration can be seen only here, and this is the only one in Indonesia,” said Ade Maharani, Marketing Manager for Under Armour Indonesia.

As expected, BHCC continues to come up with innovative concepts and that is exactly what the new Under Armour BHCC outlet offers. Visitors of the new outlet can check out the fantastic collaboration with Abenk Alter, a renowned Indonesian graphic artist, who worked on the mural in the fitting room area. Not only that, visitors can bring home with them limited edition tote bags through this collaboration, only available at Under Armour BHCC Plaza Indonesia. The outlet also boasts local elements from Indonesia through an installation made from recycled rattan wood. This is a special concept that embodies local Indonesian essence that has previously not been seen in any Under Armour BHCC in Indonesia.

Apart from easily getting my exercise needs, specifically for this BHCC, which is here to present unique collaboration works with Abenk, and also very Indonesian recycled rattan works,” said Adinda Sukardi, Under Armour Brand Ambassador.

During the opening period, BHCC Under Armour Plaza Indonesia offers a special promotion throughout August, where customers spending a minimum of IDR 2,000,000 will receive a free Under Armour shoe bag, while those spending a minimum purchase of IDR 4,000,000 will get the limited edition tote bag in collaboration with Abenk Alter. This promotion is valid from 10 until 31 August 2022, while supplies last.
