The Mandarin Oriental Jakarta Reveals Brand New Ballroom

The new ballroom introduces a modern design and hi-tech features combined with cultural history. 

Facing the new normal, the Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta has something new to introduce to its guests as the hotel has just finished renovating its events and meeting facilities creating a completely new atmosphere on the third floor. 

The new facilities, stretching over 900m2, comprises seven meeting rooms with natural light, a ballroom with a pre-function area overlooking the city’s Bundaran HI and an outside balcony meeting venue. The events space, with its excellent access and dedicated entrances, is a dream for wedding planners and event organizers. They will also be delighted with up-to-the-minute audiovisual facilities, digital signage and LED columns and WiFi connectivity. 

In the hands of Metaphor, an award-winning Indonesian interior design company, the new ballroom illustrates the appreciation of the property's heritage. Within an overall contemporary feel, subtle elements of batik are coupled with artwork representing traditional Betawi masked dancers in the pre-function area and new lighting and chandeliers are set to make the ballroom sparkle. 

With a completely renovated range of indoor and outdoor options, couples and wedding planners can explore the best venue for any kind of celebration, intimate or grand. The wedding planner team at the Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta have created a variety of enchanting and flexible wedding packages to ensure guests enjoy a perfect venue with the best service. Supported by the hotel’s talented culinary team, wedding menus are designed to each customer’s requirements -always with the utmost care, using only the freshest ingredients.
