United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Jakarta invited media professionals to gather and discuss their current programmes as a part of the United Nations family earlier last month.
Serves as the bridge of communication between United Nations and Indonesia, UNIC Jakarta aims to educate and inform Indonesians about international issues relevant to them and provide a channel for Indonesian voices to be heard in the multilateral forums of the United Nations. During the gathering, Media representatives who came to the event had the opportunity to learn more about the UNIC’s inspirational campaign and programmes in various fields, ranging from women empowerment, environmental preservation, human rights and so forth.
